Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab: Complete poetic works (two books)

Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab: Complete poetic works (two books): And how many times I called out in my days of exhaustion or his nights: "Oh my mother, come so I can drink and heal me." The snow groans, and the crows caw from a valley in it, and between my wet bed to the bottom with rain and your grave, the rivers rage and the seas roar to the bottom, shaken by storms. Has the wind carried to you across the calm of the night the crying of your granddaughters from the valley and your hungry grandson? We have become thirsty and in silence carried hunger and deprivation, and our secret is torn apart as children sob from the horror of the homeland that sheltered you with hunger? What sorrows trouble the eyes of the dead? Badr Shaker Al-Sayyab: Complete poetic works (two books) Book information: Number of pages: 1110 Publisher: Dar Takween
