Product description
The great thinker Ahmed Amin says in the introduction to this book: I wanted to clarify in this book the foundations of Islam and what happened to it from events, which benefited it at times, and harmed it at times, and I clarify how it was treated by others from the people of religions in its days of glory and dominance, and how others treat it in its days of weakness and hardship. It was suggested to me to name it a name that suits the dawn and brightness of Islam, so I thought for a long time and then named it: "The Day of Islam," because it includes the fundamentals and symptoms of Islam in its different eras until today. And the most important purpose of it are two things. The first: to clarify the essence and fundamentals of Islam, and how it was. And the second: that many of the Muslim leaders have exhausted themselves in explaining the reasons for the weakness of Muslims, so I saw that the best way to know the reasons for this weakness is to refer to history, for it shows us what happened that caused its weakness, and thus we identify the real causes, so that those who seek reform can know how to reform. And Allah is responsible for it to benefit as it benefited with its predecessor.
