One Thousand and One Nights, Dar Sader original edition, unedited edition, number of volumes/6, published by Dar Sader, author unknown, knowledgeable in the Quran and its sciences, unknown name and era, reviewed by Sheikh Muhammad Qatta Al-Adwi, introduction and editing: Dr. Afeef Hattoum. The main framing story of the tales of One Thousand and One Nights tells the story of a king named Shahryar, where it all began when the king discovered that his sister's wife was unfaithful and was shocked by that matter, and what increased that was the discovery of his wife's betrayal of him as well, which was unbearable for him, so he decided to execute her, and he saw that all women were guilty. King Shahryar married virgins, daily, where he kills the bride on the wedding night before she has a chance to betray him. After a while, the minister who was tasked with providing a bride for the king could no longer find more virgins. Then his daughter Scheherazade volunteered to be the king's bride, and her father reluctantly agreed. On their wedding night, Scheherazade began telling a story to the king but did not finish it, which aroused the king's curiosity to hear the end of the story, and compelled him to postpone her execution to listen to the ending. On the following night, when she finishes a story, she begins a new story, enticing the king to hear its ending as well, and so on, until she completed a thousand and one nights. The edition, consisting of 6 volumes, features 101 colored illustrations.
