If a stranger looked from the rooftops of the mud houses after sunrise today; he would imagine that a flock of doves had landed on the wet sands of the coast. Neck stretched towards the blue horizon, and eyes searching for what is coming from afar. However, the Dira knows of only individual crows, not flocks, sneaking onto the merchant ships anchored in Indian ports, and slipping between bags of spices, grains, and tea, traveling with the ships in their voyage to the Dira, finding itself an unfamiliar intruder in strange lands. And it stays on the eastern coast for months, seeking the sailing of the merchant ships again to India. There are no crows in the Dira. Only a few crows.
