Product description

Abu al-Faraj al-Isfahani said in 'Anan al-Natifiyya' in his book 'Al-Aghani': "Anan was born in one of the city’s births, and she grew up and was educated there, and al-Natfi bought her and raised her. She was a beautiful yellow-faced woman, shapely, well-mannered, and quick-witted in poetry. The most prominent poets would compete with her and challenge her, and she would defeat many of them." And this poetess has several stories with Harun al-Rashid. Ibn al-Nadim mentioned in his book 'Al-Fahrast' that Anan has a poetic collection that spans twenty pages, but this collection has not been found. Therefore, the researcher compiled her poems in this book, which were scattered across the main texts and sources, and he carefully gathered them along with her stories, which he included in this collection. Number of pages 112. Publisher Dar Sader.
