Echo of the old books - Barbara Davis

Ashlin Gerrer, the antique book seller, has a talent that allows her to sense the feelings of the previous owners of the books just by touching them. These echoes are revealed to her as flavors or smells or tingling or joy or sadness or pain until fate brings her two books that have never been published. And when she begins to read, she discovers that they tell the same story from the perspective of lovers whose love story was interrupted by betrayal and treachery. Ashlin begins a journey to find the writers (Himi and Bill), delving into their world and witnessing the birth and destruction of their love, exploring the power of forgiveness, forgetting, and love.
