Product description

The presence of the cross on many of the monuments and on coins of Muawiya, where the cross is erased, indicates that Muawiya was Christian, the writing in Arabic on all of Muawiya's coins indicates that he was Arab. We conclude from this that Muawiya was an Arab Christian ruler of one of the provinces of the Levant region in the south, now known as Jordan. We have clarified that the year in which the Sassanids defeated the Byzantines in the Levant was 614 AD, and they remained under Sassanid rule until 622 AD, when Heraclius took power in the Byzantine Empire and began his wars against the Sassanids to recover the empire's territories.
