Salvador Dali - Conway Madox

Whatever the future trial of Salvador Dali may be, it cannot be denied that he has a special place in the history of modern art. His fame was a controversial matter, kept alive by Dali's personal spectacle as well as by critics and the press, which relentlessly cursed him for his "nervous" excesses, "neurotic," and "crazy" — words not rarely used when referring to him. Over the years, he became so associated with Surrealism that it can be said that Surrealism in the minds of the audience is simply Salvador Dali.
