Product description
Treats ear mites and middle ear infections caused by mites inside the ear with high effectiveness. Significantly reduces itching and infections resulting from mite infestation. Treats associated bacterial and fungal infections, helping to restore ear health. Prevents complications of ear infections such as swelling of the pinna and blockage of the auditory canal. Safe for use in cats and dogs (except pregnant or nursing cats and some special cases). Ensures quick results and symptom relief with regular use.
Formulation:
Ouridermal ointment contains active ingredients such as: permethrin (10 mg), neomycin sulfate (3500 IU), nystatin (100,000 IU), triamcinolone acetonide (1 mg). This formulation helps combat mites, bacteria, and fungi effectively.
Method of use:
Start by thoroughly cleaning the animal’s ear before applying the medication. For large cats, put 8 drops of ointment in each ear, and for small cats, 4 drops. Gently massage the ear for 20 seconds to allow absorption of the medication without the need to clean afterward. Repeat daily for 4 days or until symptoms disappear.
In cases of severe infection and ear inflammation, treatment may continue up to a week. It is preferable to use the animal’s ear cleaner along with the ointment to increase treatment effectiveness. Both ears should be treated even if only one ear appears affected, as mites are contagious.
Contraindications and precautions:
Not used if the eardrum is perforated. Not suitable for cats weighing less than 1 kg or under 8 weeks old. Not used during pregnancy or lactation in animals.
A slight irritation may occur after application; if it persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian immediately.
Duration of treatment and storage:
It is recommended to continue treatment as directed by the veterinarian. The 10-gram pack is sufficient for several uses. Store the ointment in a cool, dry place out of reach of children and animals.
