History 1876 launched in 2001 as part of the Characters collection by Histoires de Parfums, reviving the character of the artist and World War I spy Mata Hari (born 1876). Reflects attraction and mystery, with a sharp floral heart and warm notes highlighting the charm of the "dangerous seductress." The aromatic pyramid: Top: Bergamot, orange, lychee; a refreshing fruity start resembling an "iced juice." Heart: Moldovan velvet rose, cinnamon, cumin, clove, violet, Isis; a warm–floral aromatic heart combining femininity and strength. Base: Sandalwood, vetiver, gaiac, white musk, vanilla; a warm, sensual finish adding depth and an oriental touch.
