Retinol Serum 0.5% in Squalane Solution from The Ordinary 30ml: The Ordinary's highly stable, water-free, age-defying potent serum features pure 0.5% Retinol. This particular form of Vitamin A has been shown to reduce fine lines, improve pigmentation issues, revitalize skin and make it look fresher and younger. And since retinol can cause irritation, The Ordinary recommends starting your regimen with lower concentrations (like {Retinol 0.2% N Squalene}) to allow skin to build up tolerance.

How to use

Apply a small amount to face in the evening as part of your skin care regimen, after hydrating serums but before heavy treatments. Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Avoid unprotected solar exposure. Store in a cool dry place.

Note: When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to avoid any skin care products that contain retinoids such as Granifac or Retinol lotions.

CAUTION: Retinoids can make skin more sensitive to UV rays. Sun protection is especially important when using retinoids. This product should not be used in conjunction with other retinoids including retinol or retinoic acid. This product is not an acne treatment. Acne-prone skin may experience a temporary increase in acne within the first few weeks of using any form of retinoid including those used in this formulation.
