Program Guide Program Name: Respect and Obedience to Parents General Goal: To raise awareness of the importance of respecting and obeying parents Detailed Objectives: By the end of the program – God willing – the participant will be able to: - Recognize some of the rights of parents. - Be aware of the importance of obeying and honoring parents. - Show interest in praying for their parents. - Be attentive to what pleases the parents. - Mention a Quranic verse indicating the virtue of honoring parents. - Tell one of the stories that demonstrate the virtue of honoring parents. - Be aware of some wrong behaviors of children towards their parents. - Express love for parents through artistic designs. - Recognize the importance of giving and sacrifice for the sake of parents.
