Acretin 1.2% Clindamycin / Tretinoin is a combination of two medicines that treat acne. Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that kills the bacteria causing acne on the skin. Tretinoin is a derivative of retinoic acid related to vitamin A. It promotes healthy skin growth and reduces the amount of oil on your skin. Usage instructions: Use a pea-sized amount of Acretin 1.2% Clindamycin / Tretinoin. Gently rub on the entire face once daily before bedtime. Do not apply to the eyes, lips, or inside the nose. Ziana Clindamycin / Tretinoin may take up to 12 weeks to work. During the first few weeks, you may notice that acne worsens. This is expected and occurs because the medication works on the formation of pimples under the skin. Do not be discouraged if you do not see improvement immediately. Continue using this medication exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
