A visit one evening

Book name: An Evening Visit Author: Emmanuel Bove Publisher: Lines and Shadows Book classification: Novel Number of pages: 132 About the book: It can be said that the French novelist, Emmanuel Bove, is indebted to his return to literary memory, to be rediscovered first by the French reader, specifically by two main persons, his daughter Nora de Meinburg, as well as the Austrian novelist Peter Handke (Nobel Prize in Literature 2019). After Bove was one of the main writers during the interwar period, the post-World War II period came to plunge him into oblivion, as if he had never existed. The general atmosphere at that time was that a new literature and discussions were born, making what was written before this war seem to belong to another time, no longer having any existence or role in reality.
