Book name: Kirkcourd Author: Leon Chestoof Publishing house: Al-Rafidain for Printing and Publishing Book category: Novel Number of pages: 76 About the book: Leon Chestoof's thought borrows its form from "Metalogy" according to Daniel Epstein and based on Alexander Papadopoulos, in his opposition to rationality, to the extent that it takes a pathological form. The idea that 2X2 equals four or that a past event has definitively occurred, for Chestoof, forms the "wall" against which freedom crashes, so we must destroy it, because rational intuition deprives us of our freedom to put us in need. In this sense, Chestoof strongly criticizes scientific methods, as well as rational ethics and theology. Creative freedom, in his view, leads to the systematic rejection of logic and acceptance of ambiguity without any condition.
