About the book:
Roberts Valzer is a modern writer, born on April 15, 1878, in the city of Pearl in Switzerland. He was the seventh among eight siblings, born to a poor father who could not afford to keep them in school to complete their education. Roberts was fourteen years old when he left to get a job at a bank, but he ran away after a year to Stuttgart to become an actor, but failure followed him, so he left for Berlin to settle and work with his older brother Karl, who was a stage designer and book illustrator. In Berlin, Roberts practiced many works and wrote articles and poems that began to be published in 1898. In 1905, he published his collection "Berlin Stories," and then decided to be a writer only and nothing else. Throughout the 28 years that writer Roberts Valzer spent in the clinic, he did nothing but walk alone for hours every day, as writing and walking were the two sides of the coin of life for him. Here are carefully selected story excerpts.
