Maze of pleasure

Book name: Maze of Pleasure Author: Ahmed Al-Sharif Publisher: Khutut wa Zilal Book classification: Novel Number of pages: 120 About the book: Above the waves of four mystical - erotic, narratives, this provocative text sails us, claws of pleasure and its talons embedded in the flesh of dreams and alienation, ascending the magical and secret stair that connects the earth to the sky, which turns the flesh into spirit, or re-invents and redefines pleasure, to locate it, as it should be, in the stations and realms of ecstasy and gnosis. The path, along which the footsteps of Ahmed Al-Sharif's heroes seek, remains unknown, and becomes enchanted, even at the height of its realism and harshness, and sometimes its brutality. Despite that, there is no escape for the reader from falling into the trap of participation, from committing the sin of surrender, free and enjoying and helpless, as much as pleasure and its revolving stations, where earth and sky mate in a house of prostitution, or a valley of fear and hope.
