The concept of faith in Islamic theology

Book Title: The Concept of Faith in Islamic Kalam Author: Toshihiko Izutsu Publisher: Ninawa Book Classification: Novel Number of Pages: 340 About the Book: Professor Izutsu starts his choice of study topic from the fact that "faith" historically is the first and most important concept among all kalam concepts in Islam, and from the fact that it has raised in the early centuries of Islamic culture many issues and important sharp debates. His work comes as a systematic analysis of these issues and debates and the main concepts expressed and summarized in the frameworks of thinking about them. The author appears to be very insistent on informing the reader that his work in the book is nothing but a study of the concept of faith as developed theoretically by Muslim theologians.
