Street boys in bed

Book title: Children of the Street Author: Frenz Molenar Publisher: Fawaasil Book classification: Novel Brief about the book: The world revolved around Boka. Tears poured from his eyes. He ran towards the entrance, fleeing from this place, from this treacherous piece of land that they had sacrificed everything for with all their sincerity and suffered all the pain that entailed. And now it abandons them without loyalty, carrying on its back forever that huge building. He cast a final look from the entrance, as if leaving his home forever. And there was no consolation to ease the intense pain of this idea that clenched his heart… The next day, at school, when everyone was seated in their places, Mr. Ratz, the teacher, walked, amidst silence and reverence, slowly and dignifiedly towards his office, and softly recalled the name Namtshak. Then he called the entire class to meet at three o'clock the next day, dressed in black or dark clothing at least, on Rakoush Street. Boka was staring ahead, lost in thought. For the first time, a thought about the true essence of this life flickered in his simple, pure soul. This life that forces us to fight as if we are its slaves working under its command, sometimes with a knife, which is true, but with great sadness at other times. A Hungarian novel of great worldwide fame. It has been adapted into a film multiple times, translated into many languages, and has become part of educational curricula.
