Donkeys

Book name: The Donkeys Author: Tewfik El Hakim Publisher: Al-Shorouk Number of pages: 128 Book classification: Novel Brief about the book: As usual in his theatrical masterpieces, El Hakim employs "symbol" in a beautiful artistic way, speaking as if he has said nothing at all. And in the manner of the clever popular proverb "The one who stares understands," El Hakim passes his human messages and reflections on social and political systems in a wonderful, smart way, that sparks imagination, delights the emotions, and pleases the soul. Through these amazing texts, El Hakim says that the core of our people has always been sound, untouched, and that their essence is precious, and the eternal core and precious metal are against falsification. Just as health cannot be defended by hiding the disease, likewise, the safety of the future must be protected by revealing everything that preceded it. There is no value to life without awareness; this is the most important lesson of these texts, which deserve a conscious reading through this new edition of "The Donkeys"!
