Book name: Beyond Good and Evil Author: Friedrich Nietzsche Publisher: Jumal Publications Book category: Novels Number of pages: Summary: The book was first published in 1886. This book is based on the ideas of his previous book Thus Spoke Zarathustra and expands on them, approaching them from a more critical and dialectical perspective. Nietzsche finished writing it in the winter of 1885-1886 and sent it to the Cründer publishing house in Leipzig, but it was rejected. Then he sent it to the Karl Dönker publishing house in Berlin, which was also rejected. He published it at his own expense through Naumann Publishing in Leipzig. During the first ten months after the book's release, only 114 copies were sold. Nietzsche attacks the philosophers of the past in his book, accusing them of lacking critical sense and blindly accepting Christian dogmas in ethics. His work moves beyond traditional ethics, critically and destructively criticizing them, towards what lies beyond good and evil.
