General history of Freemasonry

Book title: The General History of Freemasonry Author: Jurji Zaydan Publisher: Al-Mahrousa Number of pages: 110 Book classification: Novel Summary of the book: "Freemasonry" sparked a fierce debate and multiple attempts to clarify its history and objectives, as supporters and opponents delved into its history to support their interpretations; until we faced several dates for one organization, and its sources varied between Judaism and Christianity, while others see it as atheistic. But what is certain is that Freemasonry is a completely secret organization, having arisen under oppressive conditions that imposed more isolation and solitude on it. Jurji Zaydan adopts the stance of defending Freemasonry, attributing its history to the circumstances of its emergence in each country separately, and also affirms that Freemasonry is not against religion or an alternative to it, and that it is not a domain for atheists. Ultimately, Freemasonry remains today a field for thinkers to attract, who view it from any side they wish, whether supporter or opponent.
