Prince of the fog

Book title: The Prince of Fog Author: Carlos Zafón Publisher: Al-Jamal Publications Book genre: Novels Number of pages: 209 About the book: When I was young I did not mind reading novels classified as "youthful." My idea of young readers' novels matched my idea of novels for readers of any age; I believe that stories do not care about age categories. I have always had the impression that young readers may be more shrewd and insightful than adult readers, and if they excel in anything, it is their little appreciation and even less bias. Either the writer wins them over, or they do not hesitate to exclude him. They are a difficult and demanding audience, but I like their judgments, and I think they are fair... and "The Prince of Fog" is the first book in a series of "youthful" novels, alongside "Midnight Palace" and "September Lights," and the standalone novel "Marina," which I wrote years before the release of "The Shadow of the Wind." Some mature readers may be influenced by the popularity of the last novel, and rush to explore these mystery and adventure stories, and I hope new readers will like them so they start their lifelong journey and adventure with reading.
