The army of the enlightened

Book name: The Illuminators Army Author: David Toscano Publisher: Al Khan Book category: Novel Number of pages: About the book: A surreal novel running with its hero, jumping at the same time, going back and forth in life, and inheritance after death. A novel similar to its hero, in terms of strength of argument and absurdity. And although it is funny with an astonishing style, it has two shadows of sadness and tragedy that cannot be ignored. It is also a "story of a declared death" that we hope, as we pass the pages lightly, will end with dignity. Toscana, nicknamed the Mexican Thirantus, with his style called: wild realism, draws here a picture of the Mexican Don Quixote, exploring from it the dark side of the entanglements of Mexico's relations with the United States, the American country whose land and name have been stolen and remained in the "bottom" receiving the crumbs. The multiple injustices of his heroes, absurdity and humor, and the bitter abyss, are unique approaches to Mexico's relationship with its northern neighbor. The story is Mexican, but fools are not only on one side of the border, and marathon races, which start with a shot and end with a military shot.
