The best of the legends

Book name: Safwat Al-Asatir Author: Alejandro Cassona Publishing house: Fawaasil Book classification: Novel Brief about the book: This book is almost the only book outside poetry and theater written by the well-known playwright Alejandro Cassona, and he received the National Literature Award for it. It gathered legendary tales, or stories of heroism decorated with legend, from the heritage of various Eastern and Western peoples. They are poetic stories in themselves in content and form because most of them were originally written in poetry. The author drew them from high literary sources, then shaped them in his own style that contains poeticism.
