In the early nineties, Parker decided to design and produce a new high-quality pen to replace the highly successful Parker 75 pen. Parker Sonnet was launched in 1994, and over the following two decades, many models and colors were released, some featuring a nib made of pure 18K gold, and others plated with gold or chrome.
