Product description

This book is about the revolutions of European peoples against the oppressive regimes in 1848, which some historians refer to as the European Spring. And due to the scarcity of Arabic references on these important revolutions in the history of political development in Europe, the author saw the necessity of contributing through this research to provide information about these revolutions briefly and clearly for the Arab reader. Hoping that this book will be a contributing element in enriching the Arab library on this topic. Especially since the Arab region has experienced events since the beginning of 2011 similar to those that European countries went through in 1848. And to make the picture as clear as possible for the reader, the author adopted the historical research method for the period before the revolutions actually occurred, researching the historical stages that prepared for the occurrence of these revolutions and summarizing them, starting with the stage of religious reform, passing through the Age of Enlightenment, then reviewing calls for political, social, and economic reform. Then, detailing the events of the revolutions in several European countries, and the sequence of these events. To complete the picture, the researcher also addressed the subsequent events after each revolution, which led to the overthrow of most of these revolutions and the phase that historians called the counter-revolutions.
