Sharf – Elif Shafak | Novel

Bambi leaves Turkey, leaving behind her twin sister, and follows her beloved husband Adam to London. The "Tabraq" Kurdish family, in vain, in exile, tries to distance themselves from traditions and beliefs, which continue to haunt them until the last drop of blood. The children of the Tabraq family find themselves trapped in the past, shocked by a horrific crime that turns their lives upside down. A powerful novel, the events take place between Turkey and London, telling of loss and suffering, loyalty and betrayal, the struggle between modernity and tradition, tearing families apart.
