Product description

A wild plant unique to the Al-Jouf region. People eat the Samah after grinding it through preparing three types of food: the first type: porridge. This is prepared as porridge from wheat flour. The second type: Saffat bread. Prepared similarly to bread made from wheat or barley flour. The third type: Bkeel. This is a famous and rare dish, as Samah flour is added to an equal amount of sweet dates — after removing the pits, then they are kneaded together until they fully blend, and then eaten in that state. Some may add a little natural ghee to this mixture called (Bkeela).
