The idea of history among Arabs

Arabheritages are among the most complex topics for historians, as they lack the familiar features of events, and they are also not easily classified in terms of their beginning, middle, or end. When historians talk about them, they often use metaphors of transparency such as "atmospheres" and "climates," describing how they come into existence and how their environment is linked. Problems are extremely difficult, and the tools of the historian's craft; starting with the lexicon and ending with sturdy shoes, seem completely useless when the historian is researching in heritages. They are confused, and the elements that make them up originally belong to remnants of older heritages. Heritage is not "born" contrary to an event, but rather overflows from a cultural background. Regarding historical writing, certain parts of a specific environment are of great interest, often being a central text; for example, Homer in Greek history, the Bible in history, and the Quran in Islamic history. However, these central texts that inspire and govern heritages are also the result of a specific perception and a particular way of viewing and representing the past.
