Praise for the new generation

I lack knowledge of the new generation, most of my relationships, conversations, and dialogues with them are closer to me, they know well my proximity to them, and my understanding of their presence in the new world. I worked in education for more than forty years, and I have always been closer to seeing the generation of children than my own. That is what prompts me to write about this generation, to appreciate its achievements today, and what it promises for tomorrow. In this book, I tried to present my personal vision, even though I know in advance that it does not reflect the vision of my entire generation, and I did not grant myself the right to speak on behalf of any person on earth. It is a personal vision of a father whose family was formed about half a century ago, consisting of a mother and father, two daughters, and four sons, the youngest of whom is over thirty years old, and they have completed their higher education, some of them holding PhDs, others master's degrees. This book does not carry provocative slogans or militant calls; it is an attempt to interpret what distinguishes the younger generation and makes it superior to its fathers and ancestors. The book does not seek to create a conflict between generations, but rather to reveal the fabric of the complex and contradictory terrain of reality that our societies live in today. It is an invitation for parents to understand the world of their children, and for children to understand the world of their parents. And this can only be achieved through courageous attitudes from both parents and children, where everyone initiates dialogue, understanding, reconciliation, and works seriously to create a realistic partnership in which energies are invested to build a better world, and to reduce the pace of denial, hostility, conflict, and disconnection between the generation of parents and children.
