Product description
The Message of Forgiveness is a book written by Abu Al-Alaa during his isolation in response to a message sent to him by a Halabi sheikh from the people of literature and narration named Ali bin Mansour, known as Ibn Al-Qarih. In it, he complains about his affairs to him, and informs him of some of his conditions, then he discusses some individuals among the heretics and atheists or those accused of their religion, talks about them, and mentions some of their news. Then he asks him at the end to answer. This message would not have been placed in the history of Arabic literature if it were not the reason for creating the Message of Forgiveness, for the blind philosopher did not wish to respond to his questioner except after opening his reply with a wonderful story that took place at the scene of the resurrection, between paradise and hell, and labeled it as the Message of Forgiveness because of the frequent mention of forgiveness and its derivatives and what is related to its meaning, and the poet’s question for whom salvation was written: "By what was you forgiven?"
This message is divided into two parts: the first is the narration of Forgiveness, and the second is the reply to Ibn Al-Qarih. Abu Al-Alaa began this message with a description of Ibn Al-Qarih’s message. The narration of Forgiveness is divided into six chapters: the first chapter – about paradise, the second – the scene of the resurrection, the third – returning to mention paradise, the fourth – the paradise of the spirits, the fifth – hell, and the sixth – returning to paradise.
