Overview of the Diwan of Ibn Sahl Al-Andalusi This work includes an investigation of the Diwan of Ibn Sahl Al-Andalusi, based on an original manuscript from the Maghreb. The poems are arranged according to the Moroccan alphabetical order, in addition to eleven other sources that the Dar Al-Saqr has relied upon for comparison with the original manuscript's photocopy. The Diwan begins with an introduction about Ibn Sahl's life and the era in which he was born, written by Dr. Ihsan Abbas. This is followed by the poet's Diwan, arranged alphabetically, which was organized and edited by Ibn Al-Dahan, the original copy of the manuscript. It is composed in Arabic poetic meters / Taqtīl poetry. Regarding the poetry and muwashahat of Ibn Sahl Al-Andalusi, Dr. Ihsan Abbas states: "..Most of Ibn Sahl's remaining poetry revolves around two main themes: praise and love poetry, with the least related to satire, elegy, natural description, and brotherly correspondence. If we placed it in the "Ruq'a" (a type of poetic form) of his era, we would find that he did not exhaust his creative capacity in seeking new or generated images."
