Diwan Ibn Zaydoun

Product description

Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Ghalib son of Zaydun, the Makhzumi Al-Andalusi, Abu Al-Walid. Minister, writer, poet, from the people of Cordoba, he dedicated himself to Ibn Jahur (one of the kings of the Taifas in Al-Andalus), and he was the ambassador between him and Al-Andalus, so they admired him. Ibn Jahur accused him of leaning towards Al-Mu'tadid ibn Abbad and imprisoned him, so Zaydun's son appealed to him with strange letters, but he did not show mercy, so he escaped. He connected with Al-Mu'tadid, the ruler of Seville, who appointed him as his minister, and entrusted him with his kingdom's affairs, so he remained honored and close until he died in Seville during the days of Al-Mu'min on God, son of Al-Mu'tadid.
