Blood dough

The executioner asks his victim not to look at him while committing his crime, so that no spark of mercy awakens in his dead heart. He knows he shows no mercy, no tenderness, no compassion, but some eyes possess a unique language of sweetness of feelings that may remind the harshest of tyrants of his mother, or grandmother, or his beloved, or anyone he loves. It makes him return like a polite child waiting eagerly for his mother as she kneads bread for him. The longing for mothers' bread is stronger than all the weapons of the world.
