Prisoners of the 1500 years

Let us assume - just for the assumption - oh reader - that you are part of a society living a life closer to the life of mice underground for about 1500 years and let us assume that you, like all the inhabitants of your town, are ignorant of everything about us above the rocky layers that you live beneath and that you do not believe a word of what the ancestors tell about the existence of a completely different world from your world somewhere above and let us assume that in the midst of your boring life you found a time capsule left by a fool behind centuries ago, confidently imagining that someone would find it and open it after 400 years.
