Product description

A brief about the book "Explanation of the Seven Mu'allaqat" in "Jumhura of Arab poetry," which are forty-nine poems that, with consensus from both ancient and modern scholars, represent the highest ranks of pre-Islamic poetry in terms of authenticity of narration, truthful representation, and abundant preservation and care. The authors of these Mu'allaqat compiled them to shed light on their status and the reason for their precedence over others, and the justification for such precedence or delay. And considering the importance of these Mu'allaqat, "Samir Shams" focused on verifying their text, first: by fully checking the Mu'allaqat, comparing them with what is found in references and sources, and maintaining the text found in the Tarezi explanation without change. Second: he commented on the Tarezi explanation, explained the vocabulary that is no longer used or difficult to understand, extracted some roots of the words, and corrected them for further clarification for the reader. Third: he identified the Quranic verses and noble Hadiths mentioned in the explanation. Fourth: he provided the meters of the verses in the text and explanation, attributed them to their reciters, and specified their references. Fifth: he defined the places, countries, and notable figures mentioned in the text.
