Summer Activities - Cartoon City

An interactive creative program that allows children to transform cartoons into real worlds of their imagination, where the child designs, builds and shapes using safe tools, to build houses, shops, cities and their own ideas, in an environment that promotes creativity and teamwork.

Objectives:

Content:

• • Using cardboard in construction and design
  • Cut, assemble, glue, and shape
  • Building models (house - car - shop - city)
  • Project coloring and design
  • Working within Team Projects
  • Role-playing games within 3D models
  • Final project: “My Own City”

Program plan:

Level 1 (month) – Fundamentals of Construction and Forming

Objective: To introduce the child to materials + to build basic skills

🔹 Week 1:

• Getting to know cardboard and its tools (cutting - gluing - assembling)

• Making simple shapes (squares - small houses)

🔹 Week 2:

• Design and build a simple model

• Training in balance and proper posture

Week 3:

• Implementing a small project (house/box/freeform shape)

• Developing imagination in design

Week 4:

• A complete applied project supervised by the teacher

• Displaying the child's work and boosting confidence

Level Two (Month) – Development and Creativity

Objective: To develop skills + execute larger and more complex projects

Week 1:

• Skills review + developing cutting and assembly techniques

• Building composite models

Week 2:

• Designing a project (cardboard city – store – car)

• Teamwork among children

Week 3:

• Implementing a comprehensive project with more details

• Adding creative elements (colors - decor)

Week 4:

• Final Project (Cardboard City)

• Displaying work + photography + promoting child's achievement

note:

At the end of the program, the child gets the experience of building his own project (a complete cartoon city), which enhances his sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.
