The thresholds of the narrative text in the Arabian Peninsula Hessa bint Zaid Al-Mufreh 2022 The authors are interested in testing the hypothesis that the narrative text in the Arabian Peninsula is formed and renewed thanks to an integrated combination between the thresholds and the texts that pushes the reader to interact with it as a narrative text par excellence, through exploring in the novel in this region new formulas or techniques that support the narrative texts in line with Arabic and financial novel aspects of these renewal directions, and this phenomenon is based on the act of the writer first (writing) then the act of the publisher (printing) second, and finally the act of the reader (reading). Perhaps the most prominent thing the authors seek is to attempt to reach a comprehensive study of the textual thresholds in their complete form, searching for their partial functions which are realized through their relationship with the narrative texts, in addition to higher functions that can be derived from the specific towards the general in diverse novel models, while some studies stop at a single threshold as in the title, or a single novel work that examines its thresholds, and suggest functions for them as classified by Jannette through his textual study, as it is possible to consider what can be achieved by employing the threshold as a deviation from the fixed connotations proposed by Jannette according to his notation.
