Product description

Al Tera honeyed coffee from Costa Rica. A masterpiece that embodies the sweetness of honey processing and the purity of the highlands. The Al Tera coffee is cultivated in the heart of Costa Rica, in San Jose city, specifically in the San Juan Norte Rives area at the "Ravens El Cherribo" farm. This coffee grows from the Caturra variety at elevations reaching 1500 meters above sea level, giving it a unique flavor complexity that earned it high placements in the 2019 "Elite Cup" auction. Honey Process This crop is processed using the honey method, an innovative technique that originated in Costa Rica, combining the washed and dried methods; where the outer shell is removed while leaving the "gel" layer on the beans during drying. This method gives the coffee intense natural sweetness and a creamy, syrup-like texture, with balanced acidity that combines fruit vitality and deep caramel. Al Tera coffee features a rich, multi-dimensional flavor profile, highlighting the following hints: Fruits: cherry, red berries, red grapes, and pear. Sweetness: natural honey and golden caramel. Final touches: hints of roasted hazelnuts and milk chocolate in some roasts.
