Description of the perfume: We have been enchanted by Histoires de Parfums for years with evocative aromatic stories carefully crafted in selected times and places. But for This Is Not A Blue Bottle, Gerald Ghislain felt compelled to move in the opposite direction and deliver a scent separate from the usual embellishments, a canvas teeming with energy but also presented as an empty slate, where the interaction between the scent and the nose experiencing it is a complete collaboration, free from preconceived conceptual bias. It is difficult to define the intentionally created perfume, a vibrant, multi-layered floral unisex fragrance with intense metallic aldehydes, sweet honey, warm amber patchouli. The bottle itself is a subject of beauty, the familiar and stunning Histoires de Parfums bottle redesigned in the non-glossy matte blue of the eye, completely opaque, inviting its wearer to craft their own story once the perfume touches their skin.
