Varanasi

The description of the perfume Nasawi inspired by my trip to India in 2017, and it tells what remains of India in my heart, mind, soul, and nose. Varanasi is a sacred and worldly place for scents, full of contradictions and meanings. I composed this perfume guided by the deep emotion I felt when I touched the sacred Ganges water with my hands, I tried to search in my olfactory memory, and I found the source from which everything was created. The ingredients: the opening of the perfume is frankincense, saffron, jasmine, and cardamom; the heart of the perfume is ambergris, cyprol (Nagramotha), rose, ambrette, and jasmine; the base of the perfume consists of animalic notes, oud, leathers, Himalayan flower, Gurgan balm, and vetiver.
