Product description
The description of the perfume: Mandala is an ancient Sanskrit word for circle, in Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism, it has come to mean a feeling of completeness. When Tibetan monks offer mandala offerings, they present the universe in a miniature form of Buddha. It follows that Mandala, the perfume, offers a gift of every precious material the monks possess to the gods - incense, myrrh, amber, and precious spices. The perfume opens with the dark scent of Coca-Cola from ebony wood, frankincense, and myrrh, immediately immersing the soul in a sense of reverence and peace. At the same time, strange and atmospheric, one can almost feel the cold stone behind and hear the monks' low chants. But despite the rich density of resins and spices, the scent seems weightless and well-ventilated. Spicy incense floats above a cool, soapy canopy of cardamom and angelica, which reveals not parts of a church ceiling but the open night sky. A trace of salty algae and amber at the base anchors the resins and spices, fixing them in a solid, rooted green earthy ground. Mandala is the eastern zen in a bottle.
