Incenso Notturno

This time, Lorenzo steps out of his comfort zone, the area of attractive fruity sweets that express joy and smiles. He ventures into a darker area and does so in his usual style, on his toes, trying something new but not less attractive. It is clear that Lorenzo's sunny nature cannot be absent, and therefore Incenso Notturno, at first, is not very nocturnal. The citrus fruits, blended with elemi resin, with a touch of citrus, with a hint of black pepper, give an immediately sharp but initially luminous character. The development is slow, and from light we reach the night, through woody and earthy scents, and of course incense. It becomes nocturnal and mysterious, with an earthy and peppery character, like a winter night walk in a cold medieval city. The cold, damp interior of an empty church now, where the smell of wood from the benches and confessional chairs blends with the scent of burning candles and incense. The cold, damp walls release their distinctive scent. The warm, balsamic part perfectly balances with the damp, earthy part of patchouli, and the result is very surprising and quite gothic.
