Perfume description: "In 2010, a few days before the launch of MASQUE Milano, I was invited to attend the premiere of the film Alice in Wonderland by director Tim Burton. It was my first time in 3D cinema, and the experience was so realistic that I repeatedly — unconsciously — moved quickly to the side to avoid the flying objects in the film. Falling into the rabbit hole is still something that excites me. Since then, I imagined that we would develop a perfume around this crazy story! The inspiration for Lost Alice comes from Chapter 7 - A Mad Tea-Party, where one can almost smell Hatter's tea, milk, bread, and butter, served in a rural setting. Add some cakes to complete a very British creamy tea, and the magic is complete." - Alessandro, one of the founders of Masque Milano "First and foremost, Lost Alice is not your typical gourmand! It has gourmand traits, but also features citrus, woods, flowers, musk, resins, and herbs. In fact, it’s a kind of puzzle... like Alice herself; elusive and hard to define. The top of the perfume has fresh tea scents, including bergamot, black pepper, sage, and absolute mint. The heart turns into a delicious cake with ginger, carrot heart, iris, rose, and broom. The dry down is a captivating blend of flor de lait, steamed milk, and musk. I believe the journey from the top to the dry down is truly special, as it develops very smoothly on the skin, while still surprising you with every new note that appears." - Mackenzie Reilly, perfumer What we think: A delicious cream of steamed milk and sandalwood, but featuring unique ingredients like carrot, fresh black tea, sage, and wildflowers, Lost Alice is a crazy tea party with all the artistry we expect from Masque Milano.
