Product description

The description of the perfume: The future of human identity in the face of biotechnology is not necessarily the kind of subject most perfumes consider, but Etat Libre d’Orange has never cared about following convention. And we are all fortunate for that, because The Ghost In The Shell - a perfume made in collaboration with the legendary Japanese manga creator Masamune Shirow - dives into the convergence between natural and artificial, using a unique blend of advanced synthetic materials and natural perfume ingredients to achieve the flesh-and-machine composition envisioned by French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (whose work inspired Shirow) as the next leap for humanity. But enough about post-human French philosophy and cyberpunk manga that define the genre (!), how does it actually smell? Bright and surprisingly clean, as it turns out, where the perfume relies on a gentle and refreshing jasmine extract with a touch of invigorating yuzu and soft moss - the "human" heart of the scent - blended with an intricate array of edge synthetic materials that provide a soft, milky depth, musk, light but long-lasting. Just as biological modification may soon be everywhere around us without being visible to the naked eye, this is a skin scent that turns out to be much more than it initially appears - very delicate, yet deeply enveloping, soft and calming but with a dynamic, futuristic musk-edged hint. If you’re looking for an ideal daily leather musk with a uniquely refreshing twist (and a very fitting connection to one of the most respected traits in animation/manga), consider The Ghost In The Shell your personal biohack. Ingredients: Aquae, yuzu, hexyl acetate, absolute jasmine Mugan, milky skin accord, mousse accord, phenyl jaccal, orcanoxal. Concentration: Ed Perfum. Country: France.
