Philosophy of who needs it | Ayn Rand

Product description

A person cannot exist without any form of philosophy, that is, without a comprehensive view of life, most humans are not idea inventors, but merely acceptors of them, and they are capable of judging those ideas critically and choosing the right path, whenever they can and whenever it is presented to them. There are also a large number of humans who are indifferent to ideas and unconcerned with anything outside the realm of the tangible connected to the immediate moment; and these humans subconsciously accept everything their culture of the time offers them, and blindly adopt any trend they encounter. They are just a social board — whether they are scholars or company executives — and by their choice, they are unrelated to the fate of the world. Today, most people are fully aware of our ideological cultural emptiness; they are anxious, confused, and seeking answers. Are you capable of enlightening them? Can you answer their questions? Can you provide them with a state of stability? Do you know how to correct their mistakes? Are you immune to the consequences of the continuous downpour aimed at destroying the mind? Can you provide others with anti-missile rockets? The political battle is just petty gunfire skirmishes; but the philosophical battle is like nuclear war.
