In this book (My Favorite Novels) I present a translation of six important dialogues that address both philosophical and contemporary novel, psychological, historical, and the classics of science fiction and Latin American novel, which I believe are the most important fields that the art of novel has addressed since its inception until the present time. The idea of these dialogues is based on interviewing one of the experts who are globally renowned for brilliance and superiority in a specific knowledge field at both the academic and general cultural levels, and that expert is asked to select five books that he sees as the most prominent, highest status, and most influential in the history of that knowledge field, then the dialogue discusses those five books in detail and elaboration with the aim of enhancing general cultural background and revealing the qualities and excellence in prevailing cultural publications.
