Lady Charlie's Lover | D. H. Lawrence

It is said that this story was inspired by Lawrence from his sad life events, and the location of the story was taken from the Eastwood area in Nottingham where he grew up. The book is famous for its story about the physical (and emotional) relationship between a man from the working class and a woman from the upper class, and its frank description of sex, and its use of words that were not allowed to be printed at that time but ended up being published in three copies, the first copy was secretly published in Florence, Italy.
