Product description

450 liter gas tank pressure gauge

A pressure gauge is an essential instrument for monitoring gas pressure inside a tank, ensuring safe and efficient operation. For a 450-liter above-ground gas tank, the gauge must be able to measure the pressure resulting from the evaporation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), which is highly sensitive to temperature.

Recommended specifications:

  • Measurement range: The gauge's measurement range should be appropriate for the expected pressure in the tank. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) pressure ranges from a few bar in cold weather to approximately 10 to 15 bar in hot weather. Therefore, a gauge with a range of up to 16 or 25 bar is recommended to ensure an accurate and safe reading in all weather conditions.
  • Gas type: Ensure the clock is specifically designed for use with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). This guarantees that the materials used in its construction are corrosion-resistant due to the gas components.
  • Material of manufacture: It is preferable that the clock be made of rust and corrosion-resistant materials, such as stainless steel , to ensure a long lifespan, especially since the tank is above ground and exposed to fluctuating weather conditions.
  • Connection size: Ensure the clock's connection size matches the mounting connection on the tank. Commonly used connections are ½ inch or ¼ inch .
  • Design: The watch should have a clear dial and an easy-to-read indicator, and preferably contain markings for safe and unsafe areas to facilitate monitoring.
